I’m excited to announce my latest web design project: a WordPress blog / website for Holistic Health Coach Featherleaf Dunigan. On this project, WordPress provided the framework and I mixed in a premium template along with some great plugins. Working with Modern Tribe’s Events Calendar plugin as well as their premium EventBrite plugin, I was able to provide Leaf with the tools to expand her business online.

One additional first on this project was the creation of a Facebook App which allows native integration with Facebook through the Facebook branded plugin. I chose this route rather than using a generic plugin because with the native integration, all of the opengraph tags are passed perfectly.  Plus I wanted to try something new! I can now officially say I’ve developed a Facebook App!

This project was a true collaboration in every sense of the word. Jen Wilbur of Blue Stitch Photography did a wonderful job on the head shots of Leaf for use throughout the site; Elicia Kniffin designed the logo, symbols and color schemes; and last but not least, Leaf provided wonderful guidance and creative feedback.

Above is a glimpse of the home page and you can read more about this WordPress web design project on the portfolio page. Or you can see the site in action here: Featherleaf-Dunigan.com.
